It's no fun being sick.

Here it is 70 degrees today, and I'm laid-out with the flu. That's normally how it works for me. Do you ever look forward to something so much that it invariably gets messeed up? Happens to me more often that not. So now, instead of deciding whether to hit a 3-wood, or lay up with a 6-iron. I'm deciding whether to have chicken-noodle soup or melba toast.

At least I can look forward to feeling better, and getting this crud out of my system for the real start of the golf-season in April, when springtime will be upon us. Umm....that is unless my son catches what I have, then my wife gets it from him, and then it gets back to me....oh, say around April.

Thanks for reading, keep it in the short-grass.

Yikes. That does suck. Somewhat related, somewhat not... Same kind of thing is happening with us. We're going on a cruise in a week, have been doing everything possible to not get sick. Well, of course, Our daughter got strep throat a few weeks ago. She got better right when my wife got it. She got better right when I caught it. Now here we are all doing better with 7 days to go. Last night our daughter said her throat hurts. UGH!
