With Fathers Day approaching, I would like to give a shout-out to all us Dads out there who give it their all to provide for their families. It's a title well worth savoring.
If I were to run a MasterCard commercial, it would go something like this:
New set of custom-fitted golf clubs: $650.00.
Hour-and-a-half deep tissue massage: $120.00.
Your 3-year old asking you to hit golf-balls with him in the backyard? Priceless.
Fathers Day: it's not what you get, but what you've been given, that makes all the difference.
Thanks for reading. Keep it in the short-grass,
JFB

Well said. Prepare to be disgusted though. I'm chiming in everywhere I can because I'm so happy. I got a nice new grill 3 weeks ago that my wife said just may as well be for fathers day. Then I got home last night and there was a Titleist 905R on the counter :-)

Geez. I was hoping for the Man of the Year award, but clearly...YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!!!
Congrats!
PS: You know that golf club is actually 2 gifts, because you will have to be granted a golf weekend to "use it".
Hahahahahaha. Yes, I know this. When I told her I needed a new club and we talked about the price, she said, you don't play enough for that club to be worth that price. I of course said "exactly". We get the club, have buyer's remorse, and I have to play 3 times a week to make sure we get our moneys worth ;-)
