If you have a daughter, granddaughter or niece, this week (July 10-16) provides an annual opportunity for you to take her to a sponsoring golf course to play for free, and/or to get involved in a free clinic.
Sponsored by virtually all the golf associations, the National Golf Course Owners Association (along with this years' spokesperson Brad Faxon) will provide their annual opportunity for golf courses all over the country to give adults some one-on-one time with their girls.
Last year 64,000 girls participated, and they expect even more this week. So lace up those FootJoys, head on out to a participating course, and share some quality time with your special girl.
Who knows, you might spur-on the next Michelle Wie!
