GolfDash versus Google

You might be wondering why I have two search engines in my weblog: Google and GolfDash.

If you want a general search to see what comes up, Google is your answer....there's no comparison.

But let's say you just want golf-specific information....what do you do? This is where GolfDash comes in.
Let's say, for example, I want to find golf-related information in Austin TX. If I put Austin in the Google search box, I'll get everything Austin...from record-labels to restaurants. If I put Austin in the GolfDash search box, I will get any Austin golf-related information that is in their directory. It becomes very easy for me to locate my specific interest.

GolfDash is the next-generation of the phenomina called web 2.0, or the community-based Internet, even more specifically: an aggregator of topics. The theory being you don't look at a world map to find a street address.

I use it as a tool to get manufacturers' information on different golf clubs. It cuts my time in half when compared to finding the same info when it's Googled. I realized the value of GolfDash when I searched Hogan, and got two VERY different results using these two search engines.

So, try it out next time you're looking for golf-stuff. I think you'll find you won't choose to locate golf items any other way.

Thanks for reading, keep it in the short-grass.
